My mom found out about this National Natural Landmark called Dismals Canyon earlier this year, not to be confused with a National Park. It's privately owned and operated and I hope they keep it that way. We arrived somewhere between 4-5pm on Friday evening to check into our cabin, we were shown around by a very kind gentleman named Royce. The cabin was equipped with a full kitchen (supplied), 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, sleeping 8 people comfortably with a gorgeous wrap around porch to a wooded atmosphere. It was so peaceful and serene, you immediately felt stress-free upon arrival.

Dismals was absolutely breathtaking and I suggest every one should go there to experience it's beauty.
