I had a c-section and was in the hospital wed-fri. I took a hair dryer and makeup but never used either. I also took a couple of outfits for myself but only used one to go home in. Take your baby book too, they should be willing to put her foot prints on the page in your book for you. My hospital did!Our Little Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09535142115316192488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1323618393624790935.post-57499049584187150582012-09-11T17:30:48.537-04:002012-09-11T17:30:48.537-04:00Well, yeah, that's what I meant! That never happened to me after I had Cooper, so as far as I'm concerned it's a myth! =)Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06331481548878561869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1323618393624790935.post-4467173638216292282012-09-10T18:43:52.345-04:002012-09-10T18:43:52.345-04:00Thank you Danielle! But my mom told me they're a HUGE help with the downstairs area altogether, so I'm glad I have them now! Did you know you can even use them on your face for acne??? lol I don't mind the embarassing stuff, it's usually those things no one ever speaks up on. Does Poise hold up to the post partum bleeding too?Amanda Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11206434673490641348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1323618393624790935.post-85466558407116259182012-09-10T18:30:14.828-04:002012-09-10T18:30:14.828-04:00I don't even have a birth plan....what in the ...I don't even have a birth plan....what in the world do I do?!?Amanda Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11206434673490641348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1323618393624790935.post-77956200502764338572012-09-10T18:08:13.422-04:002012-09-10T18:08:13.422-04:00Tucks pads. I think they're for hemorrhoids (which I had...they just never really bothered me), but you can roll them up and stick them long ways in your, um, area (ugh, super embarrassing...but you asked!). Probably not necessary if you end up with a c-section, but since I had the biggest cut you can have down there, those things really came in handy. And while we're on the embarrassing topics, use Poise pads (for bladder control) instead of the ones they give you in the hospital, which are just ridiculous. Hope this helps...I sure had a rough time typing it out! ;-)Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06331481548878561869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1323618393624790935.post-14452362909549706972012-09-10T17:14:31.747-04:002012-09-10T17:14:31.747-04:00Oh goody, I can just bum my list from your post! I actually ended up just wear a robe home (haha) Once you have a kid all modesty goes out the window or at least it did on my part :P lol We brought a couple different size outfits to take baby home in, you never know what they'll be able to wear. CAMERA! Do not forget the CAMERA! I also brought my own pillow..It made me feel more at home. I hate hospitals so I needed that comfort. That and my own socks. Something about hospital socks...not comfortable at all!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1323618393624790935.post-6331213549858610812012-09-10T11:56:35.959-04:002012-09-10T11:56:35.959-04:002 Pins I have on that exact topic. 1 is Emily'...2 Pins I have on that exact topic. 1 is Emily's, the other I found:

http://www.pinkpistachio.com/hospital-bag/

http://www.journeyofparenthood.com/2009/03/what-to-pack-for-hospital.htmlDaniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10524746488089374170noreply@blogger.com
